Entrepreneurship and innovation are viewed as key contributors to global economic and social development of a country. University-based entrepreneurship ecosystems provide a supportive context in which entrepreneurship and innovation can thrive.
At CUI Wah, Student Startup Business Centre (SSBC) has been established with the support of Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, and the Promotion of Education in Pakistan Foundation, Inc. (USA). The goal of the program is promotion of talented students' entrepreneurship and enhancing their practical learning experience at the Institute.
Your launch sequence
SSBC runs alongside your final year. Each stage ends with something concrete you take into the next one.

End of 6th semester
Selection
Bring a viable idea or your final-year project. Research, entrepreneurship courses and events help shortlist the strongest teams.
You leave with a refined idea or FYP

7th semester
Enrolment and design
Build your team and get coaching and mentoring on every part of business development, with modular training.
You leave with a business plan

8th semester
Award and induction
Receive seed grants, register your company, develop the product and test it in the market with continued mentoring.
You leave with a validated product

Up to six months
Gestation
Go to market, meet investors and VCs, and grow your business and team.
You leave with a fledgling startup

Graduation
Launch into the market, move to Cubator 1ne, or join a technology or software park.
