How to Develop a Strong Business Plan

In COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI) Wah Campus, Student Startup Business Center (SSBC) is working towards the creation of entrepreneurial culture and to encourage and motivate CUI Wah Campus’s students towards initiating their own startup ventures. SSBC will support talented startup teams through mentorship and its ‘Startup Entrepreneurship Fund’.

With this in mind, SSBC is inviting you to a seminar titled “How to Develop a Strong Business Plan" on Thursday, February 24, 2022, from 10.30 AM - 12.30 PM at Auditorium (Allama Iqbal Block CUI Wah Campus).

Speaker: Bilal Farooq (Consulting 360)

Bilal Farooq (CEO of Consulting 360) is a seasoned consultant in the areas of the Business Process Outsourcing Model. He facilitates businesses in solving their problem and improving efficiency. In addition. as a mentor, he had been associated with UNIDO/GCEP/ GEF, Islamabad Startup Weekend & Pakathon and worked with teams involved in Technology, Water Purification, and Agribusiness. Mr. Farooq started his career in 2001 and worked for the financial sector for almost 11 years. He was primarily involved in credit analysis, marketing, and receivable management. His major area of expertise was extending credit facilities to the Corporate & SME Sector of Pakistan. Mr. Farooq left the Financial Sector in 2011 as Relationship Manager / Team Leader and joined Alnoor Refractories Pvt Ltd. He worked in the Industrial sector for 2 years where he was involved in developing and initiating a Coal Gasification project for the Steel sector in collaboration Chinese counterpart. Bilal develop and implement the Marketing Plan and the project was a successful launch. He had a close liaison with HMC Taxila, Ghani Glass, Tariq Glass, Dewan Cement, etc. till December 2013 on various industrial projects. Mr. Farooq is also associated with academia and participating as visiting faculty member and guest lecturer in International Islamic University, COMSATS University, CUST, Federal Urdu University, Hamdard, and Bahria University.
