The Student Startup Business Center (SSBC), CUI Wah Campus arranged two facilitation desks for the SSBC’s business ideas registrations between April 21, 2022-April 27, 2022. This was Phase-I of creating entrepreneurial mindsets. The two spots were chosen for this activity one is Old Café and Study Hall because of the number of students gathered around the two spaces. The registration desks were setup on the direction of Dr. Muhammad Sohail Khan, Focal Person SSBC. The key purpose of setting up these facilitation desks was to create one to one contact with the students and let them how SSBC can support these students towards initiating their start-up ventures.

The served students were briefed about the following.

· Objectives of SSBC

· SSBC Model

· Offerings of SSBC

· How to Register Ideas

A large number of students visited these facilitation desks and were excited about the potential opportunities. The served students includes but not limited to the ones who are engage in Final Year Projects (FYP’s). Apart from students, there were many faculty members that visited these facilitation desks and appreciated the efforts of SSBC. They mentioned that they will advise their students to visit these desks and even register the projects were appropriate.

During the week, Dr. Muhammad Sohail Khan visited the desks and appreciated the efforts of Student Startup Business Society to engaged in this week long activity. Dr. Khan mentioned that the Phase-II of this registration process will take place after the Midterm Examinations.
