The Career Development Cell (CDC), CUI Wah Campus in coordination with the Department of Computer Science has arranged a capacity-building seminar on "Preparing Yourself for the Software Industry" for the final year students on October 6, 2022. The aim of the seminar was to provide the knowledge to students on how to present their expertise to meet the growing capacity of digitization and to pursue a career in the software Industry.

The In-charge CDC, Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad Bhatti and Head, Computer Science Department, Dr. Sheraz Anjum welcomed the guest speaker. The speaker CEO, ID-ware Group B.V. Denhagg Germany, Mr. Ali Hasnain Rizvi talked about the practices of the Hi-tech corporate world of the software industry and its share in the market. He highlighted that the future career path in an IT World demanded expertise that they have to prove to excel. At the end, a question answer session was also held to summarize the theme. The CUI Wah Campus souvenir was presented to the guest speaker with the vote of thanks.

On the occasion, the Director Campus had a meeting with the guest speaker, Mr. Ali along with Head Computer Science Department, In-charge CDC and Assistant Professor, Dr. Mudassar Raza to strengthen the mutual cooperation and to sign a proposal of understanding. It was agreed that I'D-ware Group B.V. Denhagg Germany will facilitate the students of COMSATS University Islamabad, Wah Campus in provision of jobs and Internships. The Director Campus thanked the guest for his valuable talk and guiding the students in becoming self-employed in the software industry.
